2nd entry of Learning Journal

Here I am again, this time, to talk about the group's work, among other things.

Just like last year, the class is orgazined by groups. Like I have told you before in the last entry of my learning journal, my group work is : José Vinagre, Pedro Ramalhete and myself.

Our first task ( that we still develloping ) was to build a sketche, which will be performed LIVE and should last up to 10 minutes.

The point was to establish and show some of the many contrasts in our world. We chose to play a sketch about the first world war, in the 40's. Pedro and I will be playing, at first, a happy couple who enjoys life ( wonderful world (!)), and José Diogo will be playing our son who goes to the war (wonderful world (?) ).

I think the group work is really working well, the atmosphere is humurous and we also manage the work, all at the same time.

I believe, this should be the way all the groups should work , because not only we work with pleasure, as the time goes by much more quickly.

Last class, I received the correction of my commentary about arranged married. I was glad with my score -16-, but I should write more commentaries to practise, especially, because I began my commentary in a wrong way. I started with " I couldn't agry more with this topic (...)", and I can not do it, I must started by explaining the topic. Actually, was good the teacher correct me , because not only in English, but also in the other subjects, I have always start my commentaries with " I agree/ disagree with this topic (...)", and I have always thought it was the most correct way, but I couldn't be more wrong.

This way, I have to be more attentive and practice, now!
