4th Learning Journal

Hello, here I am again, this time to talk about my presentation's sketch, like I have promised you in the previous learning journal. I will first do a brief introduction:

We started by me, introducing the sketch. I told the class, that we inteded to show them two contrasts in the 40's: the " perfect life" far away from the second world war and the " terrible life" in the war.
At first, Pedro and I were watching the end of the movie " Casablanca"- " this is a beggining of a beautiful frienship" :

Then, we discuss it talking about the beautiful things in the world ( it was supossed to be mixed with the Louis Arsmtrong song " What a wonderful world", but we had some tecnical issues).

After two months, " our son" José Diogo appears and tells us that he is going to war, and of course this was a emotional scene. That, again, was supposed to be mixed with a song from Enya, but it wasn't.

José Diogo eventually dies...

P.S. All the presentation, was mixed with a power point presentation.

So, now that you got a small idea about our presentation, i will talk about the group work and the perfomances.

During the process of making the sketch, the all group work together, all the elements give their ideas, and it was a good working atmosphere. And I think it showed on the presentation.

About our perfomances, I will first talk about the other elements: José and Pedro, and them me.

Let's start with Pedro, I think he improved his speaking component and he also seemed more natural and confident.

My other partner José Diogo, this time, he put more effort in the group work, and I belive all the class( including the theacher) was abble to see that, because we was very confortable and confident.

About me, I think I improved my speaking component, and about my all perfomance, to be completely honnest I don't remember a thing. I mean, loved to act, and I just " flyed with the moment", it was all a mixed of nervosisme and pure adrenaline, and I really don't remember that much.

This way, I am proud to say that we really manage to work together, and I enjoyed working with this group.
