1st entry of " My writing Skills"

Commentary about the arranged marriages:

"In the West, you marry the one you love. In the East, we love the one we marry".

" I do not personally believe in marriage, but I think that if we have to marry, at least we do it for love. But what it's the real meaning of love? I strongly believe that loving someone means accepting him/her the way he/she is, and most of all being able to establish an honest relationship, based on dialogue. This way, I think that it is quite difficult that we really accept and accepts us.

That is the reason why, I understand people who marry by arrangement; I really don't blame them. Imagine that you just don't have any luck at love, and the one you love does not return your love back, then suddenly someone who happens to be very rich, and loves you the way you are. Even if do not love him deeply, you logve the idea of someone loving you. And ( who knows?) you can have the most agreeable conversations and spend the most beautiful times with him/her. So why not give it a try? It may be a lot different, but I believe there are always reasons behind people's behaviour, aand it is not up to us to judge it.

To sum it up, I defend love marriage but I try to understand marriage by arrangement. "
